Introduction to the School Assessed Task

The SAT is a progressively graded assessment that runs over Terms 2 and 3.

You are required to:

1. Find a real-world problem/need/opportunity.
2. Find a real-world client/user.
3. Use the PSM to achieve your SAT.
4. Design and gather data for the task.
5. Use project management tools like gantt charts.
6. Use a programming language and create the solution.
7. Create a design folio.
   1. 2 or 3 design ideas of how you designed your solution.
   2. Mock-ups
   3. Evaluation criteria used to evaluate how successful your solution is at accomplishing functional and non-functional requirements.
   4. Any evidence of critical and creative thinking involving design ideas and solution requirements.
